Inkerman Winery of brand wines is one of the largest winemaking farms in the Crimea. More than 20 Crimean farms supply grape here. It is known that winemaking on this land began to be practiced two thousand years ago! After all, local soil and climatic conditions are close to those in the French province of Bordeaux.
In 1961 they found a place for the plant of brand wines in Inkerman quarries - excavations in the thickness of the earth left after the mining of the building limestone. Up to 10.5 million liters of wine and wine materials can be stored here in oak barrels simultaneously at an almost constant temperature of 14 ° C to 18 ° C and an air humidity of 80-85%! In the collection of wine samples of the plant there are rare wines of the 1960s-80s, including those from the Crimean grapes, now lost. In the cellars of the plant one can get with an excursion which ends with a wine tasting. Among the most famous Inkerman wines are the red Cabernet Kachinskoye and Ruby of Chersones, the white Inkerman Rkatsiteli, the Pearl of Inkerman and the port wine Sevastopol.
