Novosibirsk Planetarium is one of the best in Russia. It was opened in 2012 on the Klyuch-Kamyshenskoye Plateau in a building with observatories in two towers. Popular-science films are imaged in the main hall on the dome of 16 meters in diameter. The observatory is equipped with powerful telescopes.
The southern part of Novosibirsk is visible from the viewing platform of the Planetarium. In good weather, you can see not only the Ob reservoir (popularly called the Ob Sea) from here, but also the city of Berdsk. There is a landscape park laid out around, with astronomical sculptures, a sun clock and a panoramic wheel. There is a tower in the corner of the park with a Foucault pendulum.
