The pompous Agricultural Palace located in the historical center of Kazan has won fame of one of the most controversial architectural constructions of the city. Its construction was completed in 2010.
Despite the ambiguous assessment of the Agricultural Palace, within the walls of which the Ministry of Agriculture of Tatarstan is located, it is very much popular among the guests of Kazan. They come here to look at the eclectic façade in the style of the French beaux-arts, which is translated as "fine arts" - a cocktail of French baroque and Italian renaissance. It causes admiration by a bronze tree 20 meters high with a green backlight, inscribed in the decorative mirror arch of the main dome. Both the inhabitants of Kazan and the guests of the city are impressed by the monumentality of the building and its some similarity with the giant palaces in Vienna and Budapest. It is better to come here in the evenings, when the illumination comes on.
