The Museum of UAZ LLC History and Labor Glory introduces the history of the plant from its first days to our time. The value of the exposition lies in the fact that it reflects not only different milestones in the life of the enterprise, but also demonstrates what people worked here and how much effort they directed to their work.
During the Great Patriotic War, the Stalin Automobile Plant was evacuated from Moscow. The auto assembly production, including specialists, was sent to Ulyanovsk. This is the beginning of the history of the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant. The factory museum was founded on the initiative of the evacuated capital masters in 1975. Documents, photographs, personal belongings of one of the first heads of the new enterprise, as well as awards received by the plant and factory athletes who participated in auto competitions, have become the basis of the exposition. The museum also includes an exhibition complex, which presents the evolution of the plant's products, from the ZIS-5V truck, created in 1942 for the army needs, to the modern off-roader UAZ Patriot.
