Tula Antiquities Museum and Exhibition Center is an extensive local history exhibition in a manor of the twentieth century in Tula. Here the whole history of the region comes to life: from the Stone Age up to the 18th century, when the Tula Province was established.
The basis of the exhibition center are the archaeological finds made in the region in the 1990s. Separate exhibitions are devoted to important historical events, in particular, «The legend of Mamay slaughter». At this exhibition one can not only look at the exhibits, but also, for example, weave chain mail, try on the armor of the Russian and Horde warriors and make a chronicle miniature. Another exposition is called "Secrets of Tula masters". It is devoted to ancient crafts and allows you to "visit" a Tula artisan, see his dwelling, blacksmith's and pottery workshops.
