The Church of St. John of Kronstadt looks very modest in Vladivostok against the background of its neighbor - the impressive Pokrovsky Cathedral (Cathedral of the Intercession). However, experts in architecture are impressed by this red brick building. The building of the parish with a two-tier bell tower was erected in the late 90s of the XX century, and in 2003 the church was consecrated. The domes of the church have been recently covered with plates with an unusual mirror effect.
The Church of St. John of Kronstadt is famous for its charitable deeds: for more than ten years it has been supporting the people suffering from drug and alcohol addiction. The church holds daily services, as well as sacraments of Confession and Communion.
