The inhabitants of Vladivostok called the Sport Harbor a shore of health. Even in the XIX century the first baths for those wishing to use the healing saline waters of the Amur Bay opened here. In the 1900s a popular fish market worked on the embankment, and the name Sport Harbor appeared in 1953, when a well-equipped beach was opened here, comfortable grounds for various sports and a large health complex were built.
Later they went on landscaping the Sport Harbor and now one can stroll along the beautiful alleys, walk on the stone-block pavement along the embankment, sit on the open terrace of the coastal cafe, admire the light-musical fountain and, of course, breathe in fresh sea air.
