Park of Peace: a fountain, rides and a forest

Park of Peace, a favorite place for walks of citizens, appeared in Kolomna in 1948. Its highlight is a large fountain, which is beautifully illuminated in the evenings. In the warm season in the park one can take a ride on attractions, including a 26-meter high Ferris wheel, and dine at a street cafe or buy Kolomna souvenirs in one of the shops.

If one walks away from the central alleys of the Park of Peace, he will get directly into the forest with tall trees and shrubs. It's nice to wander along the paths and listen to the birds singing in the warm season. This is a quiet and peaceful place, perfectly suitable for solitary walks.
