The "Devil's Hillfort" (Chertovo Gorodische) rock mass is a small rock massif near Yekaterinburg. The rocks are oddly shaped and resemble a layer-cake due to the chilling wind. Here, flat mattress-shaped stones as if superimpose on one another, and thus a rock massif was formed, the height of which at the culmination point is 347 meters.

The "Devil's Hillfort" is perfect for the beginner climbers. Moreover, the rock massif offers a fantastic view of the surrounding area. The rocks are completely scribbled with autographs of the tourists wishing to leave a mark in history. The first such an "autograph" dates back to 1902.
