The beer museum, where a collection of old beer bottles and mugs can be found, is open in the halls of the old brewery.

Dortmund beer museum is located in the former machinery room of the old brewery Hansa. It was opened in 1981. Its exhibition presents the evolution of the beer business from the XIX century to the present day. In the halls there are steam engines, machine tools, beer containers and an old equipment, by which the foamy drink was produced in the past. There is also a curious collection of old beer bottles and beer mugs, which are made from clay.
