Yessentuki railway station was built and launched along with the city’s rail service in 1893. The white building of the station, erected in the late 19th century in the Russian Art Nouveau style, has survived to this day. The metal canopy above the railway platform, supported by graceful columns, has also remained from olden times.
A stucco molding in the Moorish style has been preserved inside the station building. You can see it on the ceilings and around the ticket windows. The Obelisk of Glory stands in front of the station, and a large five-star Hotel Dolina Narzanov — to the right of the station exit. Yessentuki railway station adjoins the Therapeutic Park and is located just in the center of the city, which is convenient for those who visit the city for rest and treatment.
