The park dedicated to the Great Victory appeared in Kazan in the 70s of the XX century. A plot of boggy land was given for the park, which was drained and where 1418 trees were planted - as long as the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 lasted.
In the Victory Park there is a memorial to the Heroes of War with eternal fire as well as a 42-meter Victory stele. Here there are planes, including the legendary dive bomber and PO-2 aircraft, which made air raids during the war by the famous female combat regiment "night witches". After watching all the items of the memorial, one can go to the lake to feed the ducks and take part in the races of RC ships.
