St. Vladimir Church- in honor of Prince Vladimir who baptized Russia - was started to be built for the national donations in 2005 near the Sochi city hospital. It was consecrated in 2011. Sochi residents love this place for its silence and beauty. According to reviews, the church resembles a fabulous Russian tower.
The monolithic concrete building of St. Vladimir Church with a bell tower and a refectory is distinguished by a bright decoration: a multicolored tiled cornice and birds of paradise above the entrance. The main dome on the outside is decorated with eight ceramic figures of the apostles. Inside the carved wooden iconostasis of Palekh craftsmen's work covered with gold leaf attracts attention.
