There is a picturesque Mount Dubrovka on the edge of Yessentuki, where St. George Convent is located. In 1998, construction of a church in the name of St. George the Victorious started here, and in 2003 it was decided to open a convent. Two chapels, a baptismal bath in honor of Epiphany, a residential building for nuns and a shelter for girls «Sofia» appeared in the territory of the monastery over time.
White Ural marble adorns the building of the Church of St. George the Victorious. It contains particles of holy relics and chiton of St. George. There is an orchard and an icon painting workshop at the monastery. In 2011, the Church of Holy Wisdom was built next to St. George Monastery. The road to the church lies through an alley planted with young cypresses. The one-domed church, built of ochre-colored brick, is very expressive. Its sparkling copper dome and the semicircular canopy above the entrance to the church are visible from afar. Divine services are held in the monastery churches, and the entrance to the territory is open to the public. The mountain, on which the monastery is located, offers a wonderful view of the surroundings: the city of Yessentuki, Mounts Beshtau and Elbrus.
