Museum of Russian Merchants' Life in the urban locality Yepifan is included in the Preserve "The Kulikovo Field". It occupies the Baibakovs' estate - a house typical for the provincial Russia of the late 19th century with living rooms, a shop, a courtyard, a bathhouse and a kitchen garden.
The living room in the house is a sample of everyday life of a typical local resident with an average income: modest furniture and utensils, but in the room there is a gramophone, a guitar and a clock. A study in the same house tells about the life of a merchant. The female part of the house has realized the philistine idea of coziness: a bed with a hill of different pillows, a towel in the corner and a corner for the children's games. A shop in the house and a cellar tell directly about the work of merchants. The shop presents a typical assortment of a provincial retail outlet more than a century ago: hardware, utensils, haberdashery and food. And there is a container and a variety of measures and weights in the basement.
