Museum of Military Technologies Oruzhie Pobedy: Torpedoes, Anti-aircraft Guns and the Bridge of Kisses
“The 30th Anniversary of the Victory” Park of culture and recreation was founded in 1975 on the bank of the Kuban River. It has shady alleys, attractions, cafes, restaurants and an equipped barbecue place. But the main attraction of the park is the Museum of Military Technologies ”Oruzhie Pobedy” (translated as “The Weapon of the Victory”).
Having entered the Museum of Military Technologies, you can climb all the exhibits, see the weaponry of the Great Patriotic War: aircrafts, helicopters, tanks, guns, anti-aircraft guns, the legendary “Katyusha” and torpedoes. Here stands a stele with the names of soldiers awarded the title of Heroes of the Soviet Union for their courage in the fight against fascism in the Kuban. If you are tired of viewing the military equipment, you can go out to the bay, take a stroll along the arranged embankment and see the Bridge of Kisses where the newlyweds come on their wedding day. Its railing is hung with a lot of locks, embodying a strong marriage. The bridge offers a beautiful view of the Kuban River bed.
