The Mountain Big Saddle (Mt Bolshoye Sedlo) is the highest peak in the vicinity of Kislovodsk. Its height is 1408 meters. You can climb it at a leisurely pace within 2-3 hours from the terminal upper station of the Kislovodsk cable way. It will be a wonderful walk: the Big Saddle offers panoramic views of the beautiful valleys and spurs of the Caucasus Mountains, as well as the snow-covered tops of Elbrus!

The air on the Big Saddle Mountain is just wonderful: in winter it fills with frosty freshness, and in summer — with the fragrance of flowers. Clouds often descend to the mountain top, but in the evening, in fine weather, you can admire the beautiful scarlet sunsets which these places are famous for.
