One should rise to the Mount Akhun view tower because of a wonderful view that opens from it to the neighborhood. Mount Akhun is at 663 meters above the sea. One can get there by car. In 1935 a serpentine was laid straight to the top through an oak grove.

In 1936 a 30-meter tower in Romanesque style was built at the observation deck on Mount Akhun by order of Stalin. Now there is a restaurant on its first floor, on the second - a museum of local flora and fauna. The third floor is an observation deck with a panoramic view of the Black Sea, Sochi, including the Olympic Park, Eagle Cliffs and the Main Caucasian Range. Near the tower there is a Ferris Wheel, a café and souvenir shops.
