Krasnodar Cinema "Avrora" and a homonymous 14-meter monument of a girl in a greatcoat with a star and rifle in hands are located at the end of Krasnaya Street. In the 2000s, the cinema was renovated and reconditioned. The cinema stands in the highest place of the city. In 1981 it was declared an architectural monument, and the sculpture of Avrora was recognized by experts an art monument even earlier, in 1975. Nearby you can see musical fountains. They were installed for the City Day in 2014.
The fountain near the Cinema "Avrora" "plays" catch-up with children in the summer heat. When it is turned off, seats for the viewers are installed in its place, thus, making it a summer theater. If you walk a little further along the alley, you can see a three-level cascading fountain. At night it creates a musical water show through the use of over one and a half thousand LED lamps and three 15-meter water poles. The fountain is unique: it "draws" voluminous water compositions using 3D technology and pleases spectators with classical music.
