The Marfo-Mariinsky Convent is the most frequent place of pilgrimage of believers in Vladivostok. This is a women's monastery where precious orthodox relics are carefully preserved: particles of relics and icons of famous saints and devotees.
The monastery complex of the Marfo-Mariinsky Convent includes the church of Eusebius of Samosata, in which one can worship the most revered shrines. Also on the territory of the monastery there is a temple of Alexander Nevsky and a chapel of John the Baptist. Some buildings are more than a hundred years old. In the monastery active restoration works are constantly conducted. And the nuns work in the hospitals and charitable institutions of the city.
