Kirov Park of Culture and Leisure is a favorite place for Pyatigorsk residents. Here one can choose an active leisure for every taste: there is a boat station on the lake, a Ferris wheel, a karting track, a paintball field, a skate park, a shooting gallery and other attractions.

The pavilion of the only planetarium in the North Caucasus is located to the left of the entrance to Kirov Park. It was founded in 1958. With the help of modern equipment here they show films about planets and constellations and conduct lectures. In the opposite end of the park there is the Zoo Berendeevo, which contains both local animals and the exotic ones: lions, alpaca, and crocodiles. Pet food is given free of charge at the entrance.
