One of the most beautiful parks of Big Yalta is Foros park. It was founded in the first half of the XIX century. Now the park is so large that one can spend a whole day in it: there are fountains, gazebos, swimming pools and shady corners there. All this together creates a romantic atmosphere for long walks. Trees and plants were brought here from the Nikita Botanical Garden of Yalta and other corners of the world. As a result, one can see sequoias, rhododendrons, Italian and seaside pines, Greek and Spanish firs, Himalayan cedar, cypresses, palms and magnolias.

One of the most amazing places in the Foros park is paradise – the Paradise Corner in which six artificial lakes are located on different levels. United in a single cascade, they are surrounded by century-old cypresses, cedars and yews. And water lilies and exotic lotuses impress by their beauty on the water surface. Foros park is open to visitors all year round and this is really a paradise which one never wants to leave.
