The City Garden is one of the oldest sights of Krasnodar. It was laid in 1848 as a nursery for the cultivation of grapes and fruit trees. Then its territory was gradually transformed into a city park, which was named after the writer Maxim Gorky in 1932.
Today, there are numerous attractions in the City Garden. Here you can ride a catamaran with the children, fly in the vertical wind tunnel, visit the dolphinarium and enjoy the bird's eye panorama of the city from the booth of the Ferris wheel. Lovers of quiet walks will surely appreciate the variety of flower beds, the rest in the shade of the XV century oaks and an idyllic picture of ponds with ducks and swans. Fountains and waterfalls complement the picture and make the garden a perfect place for all-season walks.
