A Chocolate Museum was opened in the Simferopol cafe Salon du Chokolat in 2009. So the owners of the establishment decided to reveal the secret of chocolate making to the visitors and surprise them with some chocolate sculptures. The Eiffel Tower and everyday scenes on the streets of Paris, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, figurines of people and pictures are all made by hand from black and white chocolate. It is estimated that all this beauty took a bit more than a ton of chocolate!
The museum exhibits are placed in glass showcases right in the hall, where there are tables at which you can taste local chocolate desserts. The exposition tells about the history of chocolate, its preparation technology and other subtleties of "sweet life". Here, even the entrance ticket is made of chocolate! Due to the fusibility of the material, the museum always maintains a constant temperature of no higher than 18°C. The Chocolate Museum also organizes master classes for visitors and, of course, here you can buy unusual souvenirs.
