The Chapel of Alexander Nevsky was erected in 2005 in memory of the majestic cathedral built in this territory in 1872. Alexander Nevsky Military Cathedral, especially revered by the Cossacks, hosted solemn ceremonies and kept the relics of the Kuban Cossacks at that time. It was rebuilt in 2006, but in another place - on Krasnaya Street, next to the Krepostnaya Square.
The building of the Chapel of Alexander Nevsky is small and light. It looks unusual on the outside, as it is led by a wide and high staircase, on each side of which there are two entrances to the ground floor. In the upper church services are held only on weekends and holidays, and in the lower church - on weekdays.
