Wine village is the most famous place in Koblenz. It is located in the center of the town. There are several picturesque old houses that at the same time function as wineries in the village. Here you will also find restaurants and pubs. The village was built in 1825 when an imperial exhibition of German wines was taking place here.
At the weekend there is no room to push an elbow in the village: besides tourists, local residents also come here. Everyone enjoys Moselle, Ahr and other local wines. Newcomers might find themselves at a loss: the wine list here resembles a fascinating book. Besides enumeration of wines, it also enlists ready-made sampling wine sets. Wines are selected both by year of manufacture and grapes sort.
