Unlike other cities, in which the Town Hall square is usually the center, the Wine Square (Weinmarkt) with a stunning ensemble of buildings was declared the main in Dinkelsbühl. First of all, it is the Gustav-Adolf-Haus tower, where the Swedish king stayed, after whom the house is named. Emperors of the Holy Roman Empire, including Charles V also stayed here.
The second point of attraction is the Renaissance Deutsche Haus with the statue of Bacchus on the facade. It is followed by Zur Glocke carved facade and the massive Schranne, a former warehouse and grain store.
