Wanne Observation Tower is 30 metershigh on the same-name hill- a worthy occasion to leave the cityVillingen-Schwenningen in the direction of the Black Forest. It appeared herein 1888 and is considered an important monument of the era, as it holds therecord for altitude among these iron lattice towers. Its floors are octagonal.

Grueningertowers construction Company used to manufacture bells, but coped with theunusual order perfectly well. In addition, the nature in these places is ofgreat beauty, and on a fine day you can enjoy a wonderful view of the area orcontinue your journey into the depths of the Black Forest thickets.
