If not for the cross on top of the tower, the Catholic Church of the Sacred Heart could be mistaken for an industrial building: it looks too ascetic. The tower has a flat roof, without a dome, topped with a cross, located closer to the edge but not in the middle. Its only decoration – the clock with partitions instead of numbers – is also installed on the edge of the tower. The interior of the church is as modest as the facade, elegant and devoid of decorative elements according to the architect’s idea. The church and the adjacent KirchenCafé hosts cultural readings, lectures and concerts.
