Jutta and Manfred Heinrich Museum is a unique art gallery. It includes acollection of paintings collected by artists Jutta and Manfred Heinrich over 30years. In the early eighties they began to collect the works of their friends.Heinrich did not buy everything, but only the paintings in the Prussian manner- large panels in the style of impressionism. At some point, the couple had theidea to turn the personal collection into a museum.
In 2014, the dream of the Heinrichcouple came true and a permanent exhibition of the paintings from thecollection of Jutta and Manfred Heinrich opened in Maulbronn. What is curious, thecollection of contemporary art was placed... in a former barn for sheep. However, both the paintings and the hosts and visitors feel fine in such an unusualplace. The museum collection has 290 works of 41 artists. Jutta and Manfredthemselves lead visitors through the museum halls and tell about the paintingsand the fates of their authors. At the same time they do not get tired toreplenish the collection: the exposition is constantly expanding.
