The Church of St. Joseph in Bürgerplatz Square attracts with its facade of the early Baroque style with the figure of the patron saint Francis Xavier and elegant carved door of the XVIII century. The former Jesuit church was built in 1631 by an architect from Munich, Isaak Pader, by the example of St. Michael’s Church in Munich. It was reconstructed after a fire in 1863. The original interior was not preserved, but inside you can see the altar of 1730. The church regularly hosts exhibitions, entrance to which is free.
