Babelsberg film park: viva cinema
Babelsberg film park is located on the hill of the same name not far from the town center. Thanks to it, Potsdam earned the name of “German Hollywood”. There are children’s amusement rides and cinema screens in the film park where in summer new and classical films are demonstrated. Here you can see performances by actors, stuntmen and other performances that take the audience to the world of dreams.
A special programme is always prepared in the Babelsberg film park for big festivals or memorable dates. Thus, before Halloween you can watch here a horror show, films about Dracula or Freddie Krueger. During Christmas the entire family can enjoy colourful and kind fairy tales. There is a thematic exhibition dedicated to the oldest film studio in the world. Music and dance events are regularly conducted in the film park in summer.
