Museum "The Provincial City of Kostroma" is chamber, cozy and soulful. It was created by people who love their city and appreciate its history. The museum was opened in 2014 in the premises of the old shop of the Huckstery Rows.

One of the expositions of the museum "The Provincial City of Kostroma" is "Tradeful Kostroma”. It immerses us in the atmosphere of the provincial trading city, talks about local shopping arcades, famous city merchants and even reveals the secrets of their commerce. The interactive exhibition "The Ringing Witness of History" is dedicated to the bell-casting plant and the history of the city's churches. In the museum one can also see a collection of royal shtof-bottles, private collections of glass, vintage postcards and much more. On the ground floor there is an exhibition-sale of various products of Kostroma masters.
