"Khokhlovka" Ethnographic Complex is located on the banks of the Kama River, approximately 40 kilometers away from the city of Perm. It is situated on a picturesque Varnach Peninsula surrounded by magnificent pine forests. The museum collection of wooden buildings from several Ural regions will allow you to fall into the atmosphere of ancient settlements of Perm.
"Khokhlovka" Architectural and Ethnographic Complex is a real center of Russian culture: a total of over 20 buildings are collected here. There are churches and windmills, dwelling houses and salt stores here. You can enter each of the buildings, look at the interior, get to know of the way of living in the Ural huts. The territory of the complex often hosts Russian holidays: Christmas, Easter, Savior of the Honey Feast Day, Savior of the Apple Feast Day and Maslenitsa Festival. A popular international ethnic festival "KAMWA" is also held in the territory of "Khokhlovka" every August.
