The exposition of the «Hermitage-Vyborg» Exhibition Centre is changed every six months. Its exhibits are brought from St. Petersburg State Hermitage Museum. Here you can see canvases of West European artists, antique sculptures and Islamic art.
The «Hermitage-Vyborg» Exhibition Centre is located in a constructivist building of the 1930s, which belongs to the Vyborg Art Museum and Drawing School. Originally the left wing of the building housed a gallery, and the right one — an art school. But today it’s just the other way round. The replaceable collection of the Center contains paintings, sculptures, bronze items, weapons, furniture, tapestries and ceramics. The archaeological collection is singled out in the «Powder Magazine» exhibition. Part of the museum represents an «Art Hall» gallery in a separate building, where over 200 photographs, paintings and sculptures by masters from Russia and the Baltic countries are on display.
