The Garden Blone, the oldest garden of Smolensk, was founded in 1830. In 1880, here appeared a monument to the world renowned composer Mikhail Glinka, a native of Smolensk Governorate, and after the end of World War II, there were placed unique bronze sculptures of a deer and two lions, the trophies from the country house of Göring, Reichsmarschall of Nazi Germany.
You can have a rest in the Garden Blone at the Monument to Glinka, sitting on a bench and listening to the works of the great composer. The center of the Garden Blone is embellished with a beautiful musical fountain, next to which there are pretty sculptures of painted cows and a steampunk design bench for photo sessions.
