The Ethnographic Museum of the Peoples of Transbaikal is an exhibition complex in the open air. It was founded in 1973. Here one can see the Evenki village, the Cossack huts and the Old Believer temples. The collection of the ethnographic museum is constantly replenished with new exhibits. It will be interesting to visit the excursion to get acquainted with the life and folklore of the peoples of Transbaikalia, listen to local legends and traditions and admire the samples of architecture.
One can get to the museum both on public transport and on the "Path of Health". This health-improving tourist attraction has been recently organized in Ulan-Ude, but is already popular with fans of an active lifestyle. The trail is designed for trekking as well as for cycling, Scandinavian walking with sticks or a ski marathon. Its length is about 7.5 km. At any time of year it is pleasant to admire the surrounding landscapes from the equipped observation platforms.
