A small and beautiful Church of the Epiphany is located in Zvenigorod near the ancient Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin. The church was built in 2003 on the site of a non-preserved wooden church built in just 3 months in 1893.
The Church of the Epiphany is one-storeyed with an original round dome. The absence of columns provides a large interior space, where the mosaic icon of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker attracts attention as well as an unusual for the Orthodox churches blue two-tier iconostasis. There are two baptismal fonts in the church: silver, classical with a lid for babies, and the wooden oval for adults. There are regular services here.
