The small brick Church of St. John of Kronstadt was built in Volgograd in the mid 90-ies of the past century, but has already become an integral part of the city ensemble. It is always full of worshipers and pilgrims, the fratery opens on the days of worship, and the Sunday school for children and adults opens on weekends.
Currently, the Church of St. John of Kronstadt is expanding: the construction of the large same-name church next to it is nearing its end. It can accommodate about a thousand faithful. This is a magnificent building of light brick in the old Russian style, topped with a rounded dome.
