«Borisoglebskaya side» museum opened in 2008 is an ethno complex consisting of five museums dedicated to the history and crafts, the nature and people of the Tutaev land. In particular, the exposition «Soviet province» carries visitors to the Soviet period, giving the opportunity to go to a rural shop, to visit a Soviet apartment with a typical atmosphere of the 1970s, to look into the office of the shop chief, where portraits of the leaders hang on the walls.
There is an exposition «E.E.Klassen Manufacture» in the «Borisoglebskaya side» museum. This is a whole layer of the history of the XIX century, which tells of the life of the merchant class, the linen manufactory and the manufacturer, to whom it belonged. Many ancient photographs immerse us in the past and give the opportunity to see people of a different era.At the exhibition «The ABC Book room» one can plunge into school years: sit at a desk in the Soviet classroom, look through old textbooks, learn the history of the first ABC book, which was invented by a native of these places. The interactive excursion «The inhabitants of our forests» is devoted to nature and accompanied by the song of birds, rustles of the forest and the shouting of animals. It is designed for schoolchildren who will be interested in passing exams at heroes of fairy tales for knowledge of local flora and fauna.
