Trappenzeeshlёskhen is a Baroquecastle of the XVIII century, more like a three-story mansion. It is built on LakeTrappenzee in the eastern part of the city of Heilbronn. A wide bridge leads tothis picturesque castle that seems to be floating in water. The romanticpicture is added by the ducks, swans living in the pond and a thick park, Pfühlpark, surrounding the castle.
The oldmansion can be admired from afar, because it belongs to a private auctionhouse, but the park is publicly accessible. It offers bicycle rental, tours tolocal vineyards, and a game of table tennis. In winter, a rink is opened onLake Trappenzee. In summer a restaurant with a German beer garden and atraditional menu works on one of the banks.
