The old look of the Town Hall, built in the style of the German Renaissance is deceptive: the Town Hall was built only in 1906. The representative of the Munich School of Architects, Ludwig Bopp, gave it arched windows, timber-framing elements, and a sun-clock. The facade of the central part, decorated with stone, looks expressly rough on the background of white left and right wings of the building. Some details of the interior are older than the building itself. For example, the Town Hall has 26 paintings with biblical scenes, painted by the local artist Mary Sanders in 1857. The Town Hall is in the list of the city’s architectural monuments. It houses offices of the city government.
