The Church of St. Mang was built in 1428 in the Gothic style. A fountain in the Art Nouveau style shows off opposite the church: the sculpture of a mountain goat, straddled by a boy, is placed in the niche. At the Square of St. Mang you can see the Mühlberg Ensemble, consisting of a very old stone house built in Kempten in 1289, and houses built in the XIV-XVI centuries and later, in the XIX century added with half-timbered roofs.
The underground chapel of St. Erasmus (Erasmus-Kappelle) is another interesting place at the square. Tombstones were preserved here showing that until 1535 parishioners buried their dead in the chapel. Since 2010, the chapel has been housing a history museum.
