The Slavic Village is a tribute to the West Slavic Hevelli tribe, who lived on the banks of the Havel River more than a thousand years ago. Local historians decided to reconstruct the typical settlement of the first inhabitants of Brandenburg. Not only the dug-out and primitive wooden houses, but also workshops and even two ships were recreated in the Slavic village.
You can experience "the life" of the ancient Slavs in the village: try working in pottery, cooking food on fire, shooting from ancient weapons. A kind of sports, the Slavic Pentathlon, is also held there, which includes archery and catapult, javelin, throwing rings, rowing on a large wooden boat. You can tour around the village on one of the copies of the Slavic ships- Triglav or Dragomir.
