Familiarity with the Sharks in the Sea Life Aquarium
Sea Life Aquarium Oberhausen is Germany's largest. There are more than 5,000 creatures in it- sea horses, jellyfish, rays, electric eels, clown fish, lobsters, turtles and others. Here lived the oracle octopus Paul, who became famous a few years ago for the ability to predict the outcome of football matches involving the German national team.
There are also mammals in Sea Life Aquarium. Two cute Asian clawless otters are the crowd’s favorite. This species of otters have 50 thousand hairs per square centimeter of skin: this is the highest fur density in the animal kingdom! You can learn such interesting facts about most of the aquarium inhabitants. You can hold some of them, for example, the crabs and sea stars in your hand. But it is best to admire sharks from a safe distance. The aquarium’s collection includes blacktip reef sharks, hammerhead sharks, horn sharks, zebra sharks, nurse sharks.
To save money, it is better to buy a combined ticket both for the aquarium, the adventure park (Abenteuer Park) and the entertainment center called LEGOLAND Discovery Centre.
