Landscape park in English style, laid out in the beginning of the 20th century owes its name to the rosarium with 10 thousand rose bushes of 200 sorts. Besides, there is also an orchard, meadows, and several rare trees, including sequoias. There are two family mausoleums of the great dukes of Hessen on the territory of Rosenhöhe, a tea and a summer houses – the only remaining garden facilities. Entrance to the park is decorated with a work of the artists’ colony – Lion Gate that appeared in the year World War I started: brick columns, crowned with figures of lions.
