Richard Strauss did not ski in Garmisch-Parternkirhene. He spent the second half of his life here and worked. This is what the museum "tells" about. The museum is in the musician’s villa, which he bought exceptionally with his earnings from performances of his Salome opera. The exhibition includes documents, music scores, portraits, personal belongings and other materials, including multimedia, telling about the life of the great composer. You can also listen to his main works. The museum is the organizer of Strauss Annual Music Festival.
