There is a half-timbered house of the XVI century 36 km south-east of Mespelbrunn, which is a glass museum. It includes a unique collection of glassware - from antique to contemporary technological masterpieces.
The museum regularly hosts special exhibitions devoted to, for example, pearlescent glass, and the use of glass in industry, science, photography and medicine. Workshops are held in the museum every day where you can try blowing and creating something on your own. For children there is an interactive exhibition, where they can learn all about the role of glass in daily life.
