The Schlossberg Hill dominates Freiburg, although it is not very high - only 456 meters. The mountain is located in a  forest area, which is part of the famous Black Forest. This is one of the favorite places for the locals to relax. Here people hold picnics, ride bikes or run. Tourists are attracted by a magnificent panoramic view that opens from the top of Schlossberg. The entire city is clearly visible from the lookout tower. You can climb the hill either by a serpentine road or by the footbridge. There are several cafes and restaurants working on the hill.
