Lindau Harbor is the landmark of the town of Lindau. Guests from other cities, who arrive in Lindau through Bodensee, land here, and travelers who arrive by land, go out of the train at the station, which is located just a few steps from the water. At the harbor, you can choose an observation boat tour to three countries (Drei-Länder-Panoramafahrt).
In the harbor be sure to view the famous Lindau lighthouse - the only lighthouse in Bavaria and the southernmost in Germany. Though the waves are small and the Lake Constance is mostly calm, anything can happen, and the construction faithfully carries its service for more than a century and a half, helping water-crafts. Viewing the Bavarian Lion sculpture, which severely looks at the harbor, and taking photos as mementos is a mandatory part of the walk in the harbor.
